The kind of cottage that has you rebooking before you've even left. The Dairy is a cosy bolthole for two (or a small family), with a proper king bed, a bathroom with both a deep bath and a shower, and a sitting room with a sofa bed and smart TV looking out over the Teign Valley.
It sits on the ground floor with just a couple of shallow steps, with central heating for cooler evenings, dressing gowns and hot water bottles laid on.
Dogs are very welcome — the property is gated, and ours will probably introduce themselves. The village pub, with its real ales and quiz night, is two minutes on foot.
